There are two kinds of photography that interest me… wide open landscape and cityscape pictures taken with a wide-angle lens that seems to capture everything for miles and miles, and then macro photography which makes the tiniest objects look big. It’s a particularly nice way to photograph flowers so as to show off all of the amazing detail that the naked eye really doesn’t appreciate.
My lens options are quite limited at the moment but I can pull off a decent wide-angle shot. It’s the macro stuff that is a bit harder to pull off with my 55mm limitations. I hope to be in the market for a good macro lens in the future where I can really practice. In the mean time, I still like to take pictures of flowers and so I make do with what I have and quite enjoy both the process and results.
